In May 2010 the business desk interviewed Mail Box Express on the successful launch of a new depot in Birmingham. The expansion enables Mail Box Express to extend its courier services to provide nationwide coverage to firms in the legal sector.
We arranged for two overnight deliveries on Friday 4 May from our Leeds office to our offices in Birmingham and London. On Saturday, when these did not arrive, I contacted Mailbox who informed me that the delivery request forms had been incorrectly completed by us and delivery was not scheduled until after the Bank Holiday. This would have been a disaster for us as we had a team in each office waiting to deal with the contents of the parcels. Darren Shaw promptly resolved the problem by arranging for two delivery men , who were on holiday, to collect the parcels and deliver them to their intended destination within an hour of my phone call! Darren’s impressive response to my call saved our day. I cannot thank him enough and I would have no hesitation in recommending Mailbox Express to my business colleagues.’
